Paul Pogba has already provided more assists this season than last two combined
Manchester United's superstar Paul Pogba has provided more assists in the first four games of the 21/22 Premier League season than he has in the last two seasons combined.
The Red Devils have made an electric start to the season, and Pogba has been at the heart of it.
The Frenchman provided his seventh assist of the season when he laid the ball off to Jesse Lingard, who proceeded to bury the ball into the back of the net.
Pogba had only managed six assists across the 19/20 and 20/21 campaigns, with the 28-year-old managing three assists in both seasons.
All eyes were on returning superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, who had re-signed for the Red Devils on Transfer Deadline Day, and he did not disappoint.
Javier Manquillo's goal had threatened to throw the script out of the window when he fired Newcastle level, but Ronaldo ultimately had the last word.
However, with United still in a precarious position, it was Pogba who turned commander-in-chief as he started to dominate the game.
Pogba provided assists to Bruno Fernandes and Lingard as United romped home to a 4-1 win.
