Wrexham ace Paul Mullin has posted a positive update to fans from his hospital bed.
The striker was rushed to hospital after needing oxygen during the pre-season friendly against Manchester United. He suffered a punctured lung following a collision with Nathan Bishop.
Wrexham medics were quick on the scene and treated the forward for eight minutes before he walked off the pitch. And, while still needing oxygen, Mullin appears hopeful for a quick recovery.
Sharing a selfie on his Instagram story from his hospital bed, Mullin wrote: "Thank you for all your messages! All good here!" He accompanied the words with a thumbs up and praying emoji.

Mullin was Wrexham's star player as they gained promotion back to the Football League last season by winning the National League.
He scored 38 league goals to help Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney's side edge Notts County to promotion.
Though he will now be a doubt for the first game of the League Two season next weekend following his injury, with manager Phil Parkinson raging about the challenge.

“I’m fuming about it, I’ve got to be honest with you," the boss said. “It was a clumsy, reckless, challenge in a pre-season game and I’m not happy with it at all.
“I haven’t seen the goalie and he’s probably best steering clear of us for the time being because we’re not very happy.
“It should have been a straight red. If it’s not denying a goal scoring opportunity it’s still a dangerous challenge, so if you add the two scenarios together he should have been off the pitch.
“It’s a dangerous challenge and obviously Paul Mullin is our talisman. The way the lads responded after that I thought was outstanding."
Bishop has sent his will wishes the way of Mullin, writing on social media: "Just wanted to share my sincerest apologies to @PMullin7. A complete misjudgement and a genuine accident with 0 malicious intent at all!
"Wishing you the speediest recovery and hope to see you back scoring goals as soon as possible!"
