The 24-year-old attacking midfielder scored 10 goals and provided six assists last season
His displays and Angers’ willingness to do a deal have put the 24 year-old on the radar of bigger clubs in France, including Monaco, and Spain but also Palace and Newcastle in the Premier League.
Fulgini has previously been linked with Everton and Southampton.
Versatile, creative, skilful and set-piece specialist, Fulgini scored ten goals and set up four more in 36 games for Angers last season.
Steve Bruce (L) is yet to sign a player this summer while Patrick Vieira (R) is refreshing his side
He also caught the eye with his dribbling ability and was the second most fouled player in Europe’s top five leagues during 2020/21.
Fulgini has two years left on his current contract at Angers and is valued at around £12m.
Fulgini would fit the mould of younger player Palace are targeting this summer under their new manager, former Nice boss Patrick Vieira, as they try to bring down the average age of their squad.
