Owen Hargreaves and Joe Cole have hailed Bayern Munich wonderkid Jamal Musiala and compared him to Brazilian legend Kaka.
The pundits made the comments about the German midfielder on BT Sport ahead of Bayern’s Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
Widely regarded as one of the best players of his generation, Kaka thrived in the No 10 position.
And 19-year-old Musiala is considered one of the greatest prospects in world football having flourished for the Bundesliga giants since breaking through in 2020.
Former Bayern Munich midfielder Hargreaves, 42, said: ‘Fabulous player, one of the best young players in the world. Plays as a number 10. Musiala is the top scorer this season. Bayern’s star player this season has been Musiala.

‘I like everything [about him]. He reminds me of Kaka. Kaka in our time was the greatest number 10 in the game. You shouldn’t get out of the areas he does, he’s got speed, size and is a good finisher.
‘He could easily decide the game. Him playing ahead of Muller, tells you all you need to know.’
Meanwhile, former Chelsea winger Cole, 41, said: ‘Being the main man at Bayern at 19 is unbelievable. I coached him at Chelsea a few times and you could tell he was going to be a player.
‘He’s added the ability to get into the box to his game. He’s the main man, he will be crucial for Bayern if he has to break the lines and get them out if they’re pinned back by PSG.’
‘He’s outstanding. His feet and balance… it’s a joy to watch. 14 goals for Bayern. Taken the responsibility since Lewandowski left for Barcelona last summer,’ Joleon Lescott added.

Musiala joined the perennial Bundesliga champions from Chelsea in 2019.
He also spent time in the Southampton youth set-up after his family moved from Germany to England when he was seven.
The midfielder predominantly represented the Young Lions at youth level, going on to feature for England Under-21s before confirming he would play for his country of birth.
PSG faced Bayern in the final of the 2020 tournament but were beaten 1-0 thanks to a Kingsely Coman goal.
