Only two Man Utd stars safe under Ten Hag including De Gea, says ex-player
Manchester United are set for another rebuild this summer when Erik ten Hag replaces Ralf Rangnick– and only two players are safe according to former United goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak.
Rangnick's interim role in charge will end following the conclusion of the season, when Ajax boss Ten Hag will take control. And the Dutchman is expected to be heavily backed in the transfer market, with outgoings also likely to be plentiful this summer.
Paul Pogba is one of the high profile names expected to leave when his contract expires at the end of this season, but other stars could be at risk of being sold if Ten Hag is unimpressed. David de Gea has performed well in goal this season, despite the team struggling, and the Spaniard should have secured his future at Old Trafford.
Pogba, Jesse Lingard, Juan Mata and Edinson Cavani are all expected to leave Old Trafford at the end of the season, with Nemanja Matic already confirming his departure. But former United goalkeeper Kuszczak feels as though almost every position is under question after a disastrous season.
That is, other than the goalkeeping position, where he thinks United are strong. Kuszczak told the Daily Mail: "Obviously, I expect a lot of changes. I want to see my beloved team playing at the right level and not conceding nine goals against Liverpool in one season and two games.
"It’s shocking and every position is under question, apart from the goalkeeper. David and Dean are very strong. Those are the only two who are safe."

The former United star even thinks that Cristiano Ronaldo is not safe, despite carrying the club this season. Kuszczak added: "The rest, each position you look at there’s always questions.
"Ronaldo is doing very well but he’s getting on now and can’t be given so much responsibility at the age of 37. But in summary every part of the team needs to be changed!"
It's certainly going to be a busy summer for Ten Hag, and Ronaldo's future is still up in the air, even if it is on his own terms as opposed to whether he is good enough. Ronaldo still has another year left on his two-year deal at United, but with the club set to miss out on the top four, he may want to remain in the Champions League and therefore move elsewhere.
