Oleksandr Zinchenko says Arsenal players laughed when he told them of title hope
Arsenal defender Oleksandr Zinchenko revealed his team-mates laughed at his pre-season title ambitions after their 3-2 victory against Manchester United.
The Gunners extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table back to five points thanks to Eddie Nketiah's last-minute winner against the Red Devils, a result which could prove to be vital in the title race with Manchester City.
They look to be in pole position to lift the trophy for the first time since their 2003/04 Invincibles season – even though some of the squad had no belief they could do it before the campaign got underway.

Zinchenko, who joined from City last summer, told Premier League Productions post-match: "When I arrived, the quality I saw, I realised that we have everything to achieve the big things.
"I started to speak in the dressing room, 'forget top three, we need to think about the title'. Some of them were laughing, but no-one is laughing now and all of us is dreaming. But still like I said there's a lot of games to play."

Zinchenko, 26, already has four Prem titles to his name from his time at the Etihad and is using that experience in amongst a very young Gunners squad to help guide them through what is unchartered waters for most of them.
He also explained: "I said to the lads before the game, 'When everyone is going to retire, we're going regret that we didn’t enjoy enough'.
"Everyone realises we have a lot of games ahead of us and we just go step by step. The mentality and spirit is right. That's the key. Of course, there is a lot of space to improve but we are on the right way."
