Lionel Messi's stoppage time winner on his Inter Miami debut sent their star-studded fans into raptures.
The Argentina and Barcelona icon curled home a trademark free-kick in the fourth additional minute of play to secure a 2-1 win over Cruz Azul in the Leagues Cup.
The 36-year-old, who left PSG following the expiration of his two-year contract this summer, was brought off the bench by Gerardo Martino and stepped up to settle the contest after Uriel Atuna cancelled out Robert Taylor's opener.
Messi effortlessly curled his effort past Andres Gudino to send fans wild, with co-owner David Beckham embracing wife Victoria and their youngest children Cruz and Harper Seven, with Serena Williams, LeBron James and Kim Kardashian among those in disbelief.

James had hugged Messi before the fixture and looked starstruck when recording the celebrations on his phone, as did Wimbledon icon Williams.
The official MLS twitter account used as their caption: "LIONEL ANDRES MESSI IS NOT HUMAN."
NFL star Patrick Mahomes was also in attendance as the stars aligned to see the greatest player in history – and he didn't disappoint.
Messi enjoyed the perfect start to life in America after notching 32 goal across 75 games in France and winning two Ligue 1 titles.

An emotional Beckham was seen with tears in his eyes following a difficult spell for Miami which has included three wins across their last 20 league fixtures.
That period also included the sacking of Beckham's pal Phil Neville, with other signings including Barca icons Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets.
Messi said of his move at the tine: "This is a fantastic opportunity and together we will continue to build this beautiful project."
