Norwich City have expressed an interest in Chris Wilder and German coach Tim Walter as they look to fill their vacant manager’s job.
Norwich are searching for a new head coach after taking the decision to sack Dean Smith earlier this week following a run of three wins in 13 Championship matches.
The Canaries are compiling a list of candidates to take over at Carrow Road and former Sheffield United boss Wilder and Hamburg head coach Walter are among those understood to be in the frame, with both believed to be aware of Norwich’s interest.

Wilder has been out of work since leaving Middlesbrough in October but has experience of winning promotion to the Premier League from the Championship with Sheffield United.
Walter, 47, is highly respected within the coaching community after spells with Bayern Munich II, Holstein Kiel and Stuttgart.
The German coach and is currently in charge of Hamburg in 2.Bundesliga.
