Neymar's former agent: PSG star to play with Messi again in Barcelona
Neymar ‘will play with Lionel Messi again at Barcelona’, claims the PSG star’s former agent – with new president Joan Laporta holding key to the Brazilian’s Nou Camp return
- PSG star Neymar has been linked with a move to Barcelona for several years
- The Brazilian’s contract at the French giants expires in the summer of 2022
- His former agent Andre Cury claims the winger will play with Lionel Messi again
- Cury claims the door is open for Neymar at Barcelona under new Joan Laporta
Neymar’s former agent Andre Cury has sensationally claimed the Paris Saint-Germain star and Lionel Messi will play together at Barcelona again.
Brazilian forward Neymar’s future at French club PSG is uncertain with the 29-year-old’s contract coming to an end in the summer of 2022, with former club Barcelona one of the clubs capable of buying the expensive winger.
Messi, who enjoyed a successful partnership with Neymar at Barcelona between 2013 and 2017, has himself been linked with a move to PSG with the Argentine’s contract at the Catalan club coming to an end in June.

But super-agent Cury, who used to represent Neymar and orchestrated his move to Barcelona from Santos back in 2013, claims new Barcelona president Joan Laporta could arrange a move for the PSG star.
Cudry told Argentine news outlet El Litoral: ‘Neymar has an open door at Barcelona, their fans knows he made a mistake and even he recognised it some time later.
‘Two years ago, Neymar formally asked me to return to Barcelona. We tried and we were really close to getting him out of Paris. But, because of some details, it didn’t happen.

‘Laporta is the only one who can bring them back together again. Messi won’t leave Barcelona – he decided that his history is in Barcelona and I’m very clear on that. Neymar will play with Messi again, but in Barcelona.’
New Barcelona president Laporta was elected earlier this month in a move which is likely to convince Barcelona captain Messi to stay at the club.
The Argentine’s future at the Camp Nou has been in serious doubt following the Barcelona talisman’s sensational transfer request last summer which nearly saw him quit Barcelona.

Messi pledged another season to Barcelona in August but Laporta’s return as president could see the 33-year-old extend his deal once more.
Neymar and Messi made up two-thirds of the infamous ‘MSN’ forward trio alongside Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez.
Together, the Barcelona forwards helped the club to the treble in 2015 under former manager Luis Enrique.

Neymar ended his Barcelona career in 2017 – after 105 goals in 186 matches – by sealing a world-record £198million move to PSG.
Since joining the French giants, the 29-year-old has led PSG to three league titles, four domestic French cup triumphs and a runners-up medal in last season’s Champions League.
