Newcastles transfer plans for January and most pressing issues they will fix
With the January transfer window on the horizon, Newcastle United are dreaming of a late Christmas present to splash out on with their newly acquired millions.
The Toon Army are currently rooted to the bottom of the Premier League table.
But with money no object, the Daily Telegraph are reporting that Newcastle will 'move quickly' to land their key targets.
The Telegraph also claims that while every position is being evaluated, centre back and defensive midfield are the most pressing targets.

Newcastle have been linked with a plethora of names since the takeover in October.
Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard, Chelsea’s Ross Barkley, Liverpool’s Nat Phillips, Burnley's James Tarkowski, Atletico Madrid’s Kieran Trippier, and Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Winks have all been linked with moves.
Tarkowski has been continuously linked with a move, but according to the Northern Echo, Sean Dyche isn't keen to sell his star defender to a rival.
However, Burnley's hand could be forced with Tarkowski's deal up in the summer.
