Neville flips off Richards as pundit pals rip into his new look this season

Gary Neville could only flip off Micah Richards after the Sky Sports pundit mercilessly tore into the Manchester United legend's fashion sense.

On the day of the Premier League's return in a season like no other, Arsenal will travel to Selhurst Park to face Patrick Vieira's Crystal Palace. The players are well-rested, despite the campaign kicking off earlier this year due to the winter World Cup that will go ahead in November.

And that means our favourite pundits will be back with all the arguments, debates and banter that we love to watch. And Richards has wasted no time tearing into his Sky Sports buddy Neville before the cameras have even been turned on.

While hanging around in a corridor, the former Manchester City star whacked his phone out and started pointing them toward Neville's shoes. In bursts of infectious laughter, Richards can be heard exclaiming: "What are those!"

Referring to his Stone Island trousers, the ex-defender continued: "He's got the Stoney on as well! Look at him. Look at him!" Neville had enough at this point, replying only with a middle-fingered gesture at a deadpan face.

"He thinks he's 18!" Richards carried on. That was when Jamie Carragher took his turn to throw some shade, this time at Neville's haircut, demanding how much he paid. The United icon whimpered back: "£64."

It lead to barrels of laughter from Richards and Carragher while Roy Keane prowled around, looking ready to offer Neville a shoulder to cry on. Sky Sports will get back underway on Friday night to broadcast Crystal Palace vs Arsenal on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League.

Mikel Arteta has big ambitions this season as he looks to right the wrongs from last year where the Gunners dropped out of the Champions League spots at the last hurdle. Palace will have their sights set on building on a brilliant campaign under Vieira full of energy and attacking prowess and will give Arsenal a major test ahead of the new term.
