Neville amazed by Hasenhüttl interview as Saints boss blasts Man Utd work ethic
Gary Neville believes Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhüttl has summed up Manchester United's problems perfectly following the two sides' 1-1 draw on Saturday.
The Sky Sports pundit took to Twitter after reading Hasenhüttl's post-match comments, suggesting he completely agreed with the Austrian's rather bleak assessment of his opponents.
"It’s not a big secret that when [United] lose the ball the reverse gears are not the best from everyone," the Saints manager said.
In response, Neville tweeted: "Imagine being a Manchester United player and having a respected opposition manager say that about you."
United missed the chance to leapfrog West Ham into the top four after being held by Southampton at Old Trafford.
Jadon Sancho grabbed the opening goal of the game, which was just his second league goal all season, before Che Adams equalised for the visitors.
Cristiano Ronaldo, who missed an open goal in the first-half, has now gone six consecutive matches without finding the back of the net – his worst run since 2009.

A new manager will be hired in the summer, but with each passing week Rangnick's appointment as interim boss looks less and less like the masterstroke it was supposed be.
