Andy Murray could not resist a dig at Piers Morgan for his pre-match prediction after Lionel Messi inspired Argentina to World Cup glory.
The TalkTV host had made the bold prediction that Kylian Mbappe and France would wreck Messi’s dream in Qatar.
Before the match, Morgan tweeted: ‘PREDICTION: France will beat Argentina 3-1 to win the World Cup.

Morgan is the staunchest of Cristiano Ronaldo fans and has defended the five-time Ballon d’Or winner’s corner in the greatest of all-time debate.
