Mourinho mocked Lampard after being sacked in world-class s***house move
Frank Lampard has revealed what Jose Mourinho said to him after he was sacked as Chelsea manager – and it's savage.
Lampard, who is a Chelsea legend and the club's all-time record goalscorer, replaced Maurizio Sarri as Blues boss in 2019.
The west Londoners enjoyed a solid first season under the rookie coach, finishing fourth in the Premier League and reaching the FA Cup final, all while operating under a transfer embargo.
But things began to unravel in Lampard's second campaign at Stamford Bridge and he was eventually sacked in January of this year.
It was the former midfielder's first experience of being sacked as a manager, having left his first job at Derby to take over at Chelsea.
Getting the boot is something Mourinho, now at Roma, knows a little bit about.
Prior to joining the Serie A side, the 58-year-old had been axed from his last four posts, including Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur.
So he had some choice words for Lampard when he bumped into his former Blues player in London after he had been sacked from Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to Gary Neville on The Overlap, Lampard said: "I bumped into Jose in the streets around here [Chelsea] just after getting sacked.
"He had a mask on as it was Covid. I didn't get him to the last minute and he whips his mask off.
"He come over and gave me a big hug and he went 'now you're a real manager because you've been sacked'.

Lampard has been out of work since being sacked in January but he's keen to return to the dugout and has been waiting for the right offer to arrive.
In the summer he was heavily linked with the Crystal Palace job before the Eagles opted to go with former Arsenal midfielder Patrick Vieira instead.
Earlier this month he pulled out of the race to become Norwich City's new manager following the departure of Daniel Farke.
