Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has been in flying form this season and he is, understandably, being tipped as the best player in world football at the moment. The Reds are currently sitting in second place in the Premier League after an impressive victory over Manchester United, which highlighted the Egyptian’s quality.
Jurgen Klopp’s side beat United 5-0 in a victory that has piled the pressure on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who many are tipping to be sacked in the coming weeks.
Naby Keita opened the scoring after five minutes before Diogo Jota grabbed his fourth goal of the season just eight minutes as the Red Devils self-destructed at Old Trafford.
Salah then scored a hat-trick with goals either side of half-time in a solo performance that any footballing legend would have been proud of.
The 29-year-old has scored 10 goals in nine appearances so far this season and also registered five assists, meaning he is on target to break numerous Premier League records.

But Salah’s form has underlined a key issue at several of the other Big Six clubs.
The winger has scored more goals so far this season than Tottenham Hotspur (nine) and as many as other north London club Arsenal (10).
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have struggled to find the back of the net consistently so far due to their inability to create chances and due to the average form of usual top scorer Harry Kane.
The Englishman opened his account against Newcastle two weeks ago but had limited opportunities against West Ham most recently in a 1-0 defeat.
On the other hand, Arsenal haven’t truly been short of chances in recent weeks and are slowly but surely beginning to establish themselves as a side capable of challenging for European football.
Goals from Thomas Partey, Emile Smith-Rowe and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang meant that the Gunners were victorious over Aston Villa last Friday, but manager Mikel Arteta could struggle when the latter departs the club.
The Gabonese forward’s contract expires at the Emirates Stadium in 2023, and fellow striker Alexandre Lacazette’s deal runs out next year too.
Having spent £149million over the summer, Arsenal are in the heart of a major rebuild and attempting to form a squad capable of competing in the short-term but contending for titles in the future.
However, they didn’t spend a penny on a centre forward and are expecting to be in the market for a no.9 in the coming windows so that the main bulk of the squad has been formed.
Although Salah is single-handedly putting Liverpool on course to go toe to toe with Manchester City and Chelsea for the title, he may not be at Anfield for very much longer.
The ex-Roma forward has struggled to come to an agreement with the Reds about a new deal after being unable to settle on a ‘fair’ salary which represents how crucial he is for the Merseyside club.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Salah spoke of the contract saga, he said: “It does not depend with me. If you ask me, I would love to stay until the last day of my football [career], but I can’t say much, it’s not in my hands,”
It is reported that the winger is asking for a £400,000-per-week salary but Liverpool are unsure whether they want to pay that amount, which would make the player one of the highest-paid in the world.
