Mohamed Salah and Jurgen Klopp ignored one another after the Liverpool star threw a tantrum at being substituted against Chelsea.

To the shock of many, and mostly Salah, he was replaced by Harvey Elliot with 15 minutes to go at Stamford Bridge, with the match evenly balanced at 1-1.

He turned around with a look of disgust on his face before ripping off the tape from his right arm not once, not twice but three times. Then once he reached the dugout he and Klopp blanked each other.

Fans were divided over whether Salah's reaction was justified. One tweeted: "Tbf, is a strange substitution…" Another posted: "Can't blame him. Man was chasing three points the whole game!"

But one questioned: "Why is he crying? It’s not like he was having a great game." And a second commented: "Big baby as Roy Keane would say!"

Neither side could find a breakthrough in the second half after Axel Disasi had cancelled out Luis Diaz's opener before the break, meaning the spoils were shared.
