MNF host Dave Jones got pranked by giggling colleague live on Sky Sports News
Remember vuvuzelas? Weren't they just the worst? Well, Monday Night Football (MNF) host Dave Jones learned that first hand.
The incessant monotonous horns were the jarring auditory backdrop to each of the 64 matches played at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, and for four bonkers weeks they took the footballing world by storm.
Back in the day when Jones was a presenter for Sky Sports News, he was pranked by co-host Georgie Thompson after she handed him a vuvuzela to blow on during a live broadcast.
Despite sensing that Thompson was up to something, an initially hesitant Jones puckered his lips to give the instrument a good puff, only to realise his colleague had covered the mouthpiece in cherry-red lipstick.

"Oh my God what have you put on it?!" Jones exclaimed, much to the delight of Thompson, who burst out laughing.
"She's absolutely done me with lipstick, live on air. I don't think I'll ever live that down," he said into the camera before turning to Thompson and labelling her a "horror". Check out the full video here.
Jones and Thompson struck up quite the friendship having presented Sky Sports News together for a number of years.

Thompson, who was included in FHM magazine's Sexiest Female in the World list in 2007, would eventually leave Sky Sports News in 2011 to take up a job with Sky Sports F1.
Jones followed her out the door a few months later but stayed in football, eventually being named host of Saturday Night Football, Sky Sports' new show which provided coverage of Saturday evening Premier League fixtures.
In 2016 was announced as the new presenter of MNF alongside Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher following Ed Chamberlain's departure, and he now regularly hosts Sky Sports' flagship football programme Super Sunday.
