Aaron Ramsdale has joked that Mikel Arteta's training ground speakers might not be making a return to London Colney after his Liverpool masterplan backfired with a 4-0 defeat.
The 24-year-old has given his take on what the Spaniard described as his latest 'crazy idea' before Arsenal's Anfield trip back in November which ended their eight-game unbeaten run in the league – which saw speakers blast out You'll Never Walk Alone.
Although it didn't quite go to plan, with Arteta hoping that his players would be prepared for the atmosphere, Ramsdale also insisted that he and his colleagues could see where their manager was coming from.

Arteta had shouted to his players on the training pitch: "Boys! Mentality, we start to play the game now! Okay, we are at Anfield. Let's go."
Speaking to the media before the release of the first three episodes of All or Nothing: Arsenal on Thursday (August 4), Ramsdale said: "I've never experienced the speakers before.
And added with a smile: "I don't think they'll be coming back out."

Continuing: "We could all see what the method was, Anfield is one of them stadiums which if I get on top of you it can be too much.
"Yeah his team talks are definitely different I think he keeps it fresh because sometimes he talks and sometimes he lets some of the lads talk.
"it keeps you engaged and he let you into his life as well. Somethings that you found out about him over the past year you would never find out unless he probably wrote an autobiography or something.
"Before games I do feel very engaged with what he's saying."
Included in the first three episodes of All or Nothing: Arsenal are other moments in which Arteta's unusual methods will be shown to supporters.
As well as doing impressive doodles on his whiteboard pre-match, at one point the former Manchester City coach asks his players to hold hands in the changing room.
