Mikel Arteta insists Arsenal will take action against the supporter who targeted Mykhailo Mudryk with a laser pointer during the 3-1 win over Chelsea on Tuesday evening.

Mudryk, who was close to joining Arsenal in the January transfer window before his £88.5 million move to Chelsea, came on as a substitute in the second half of his side’s defeat at the Emirates Stadium.
The 22-year-old was booed by Arsenal supporters during his time on the pitch, while he also had a green laser shone in his eye in the closing stages of the game.
When asked about the incident, Arteta said: ‘If something happened obviously we will review what happened in the match and take action.’
Mudryk, meanwhile, appeared to play down the incident on Instagram as he uploaded a photo of himself with the green laser on his face with the caption, ‘it’s ok’, alongside an emoji of two hands making the shape of a heart.
Arsenal have since confirmed that a supporter has been arrested over the incident, while the club labelled the actions towards Mudryk as ‘dangerous and totally unacceptable’.
A statement from the club read: ‘An arrest has been made following the use of a laser during last night’s match.
‘This behaviour is dangerous and totally unacceptable, and we will fully support the police with their enquiries.
‘We will obviously take the strongest possible action.’
