Micah Richards says Roy Keane ‘hates me telling people’ about off-screen persona
Micah Richards has opened up about his off-screen relationship with Sky Sports colleague Roy Keane while predicting that the Manchester United icon wouldn't want him to.
The former Manchester City and England defender burst onto the punditry scene following the end of his playing career back in 2019 – going on to form an unexpected partnership with Keane which regularly sees the pair breaking into laughter on air.
While appearing on Jameson Irish Whiskey's new five-part content series called Home Fixtures alongside award-winning TV chef Big Zuu, Richards opened up about their connection.

"You know what, I get on with everyone," Micah told Big Zuu on the third episode of the series, called The Stirrer.
"Roy Keane I enjoy working with. I think it was the first time I was with him when I was talking about young players not fulfilling their ability."
Adding: "Ever since then, it just snowballed from there. It was never preempted or anything like that. It's all love.

"He's one of the nicest, he'll probably hate me telling people this, he’s one of the nicest and most humble people ever."
Keane famously questioned whether Richards did in fact burst onto the scene as a young right-back with Richards pointing out he was England's youngest ever defender.
Although he didn't go on to match Keane's seven Premier League titles, Richards did win the FA Cup and League Cup alongside his 2011/12 domestic triumph under Roberto Mancini.
Richards sat down with Big Zuu following the release of five limited edition Jameson Irish Whiskey bottles created for football fans called The Pundit, The Socialiser, The Stirrer, The Gaffer and The Pro.
The bottles each come with unique football shirt designs – and were enjoyed by the duo while they spoke about Richard's career both on and off the pitch.
In the final episode, the 34-year-old explains that he was never planning to go into the media until he received a text, saying of his change in mindset: "I was never going into media. It was only that one text from someone… it shows you how powerful people’s words can be."
