Mesut Ozil set to reveal all about Arsenal career in must-see documentary
Mesut Ozil is set to reveal all about his tumultuous time at Arsenal in a new must-see documentary, according to reports.
The 32-year left the Gunners in January under a cloud after falling out with head coach Mikel Arteta.
He joined Turkish side Fenerbahce on a three-year deal but still likes to post on social media about his old club, tweeting "Trust the process" after Arsenal's shambolic 5-0 defeat to Manchester City last weekend.
And it has now emerged that the divisive German midfielder could be set to star in a new documentary charting his eventful eight seasons at the Emirates.
Arsenal insider AFCBell claims that a source close to Ozil has told them that the 2014 World Cup winner is in advanced talks with an international production company to make a documentary about his final years at the club.
The documentary would reportedly deal with what happened behind the scenes and offer insight into the perspective of both the player and the club.
Ozil became Arsenal's record transfer when he moved to the club from Real Madrid for £42.5million on deadline day in 2013.
Things started well for the midfielder in north London, with Ozil becoming the first player in Premier League history to provide an assist in seven straight matches.

But as time went on, Ozil found himself on the receiving end of criticism from the club's supporters who accused him of lacking interest and effort during matches.
His situation at Arsenal became more pronounced at the start of the 2020-21 season when Arteta chose to leave him out of his 25-man Premier League squad.
"Obviously a player of that dimension, with the career he has had, everything that happens around him has a big impact", Arteta said at the time.
"It has been the case for the last eight years, it is nothing new that is just happening now. A lot of things have happened over these eight years.
"Here I feel at the moment, today, that I have failed.
"I want the best possible Mesut for the team. And in some moments I was able to get close to that, and at the moment I have not been able to do it because I have to make the decision to leave him out of the squad."

Earlier, in a message to the club's supporters, Ozil said "loyalty is hard to come by nowadays".
A few months later, Ozil agreed a deal with Arsenal to mutually terminate his £350,000-per-week contract, which still had six months left to run.
He told Gunners fans that they would "forever remain in my heart" as he completed a move to Fenerbahce in January 2021.
