Mesut Ozil and Fenerbahce ‘reach agreement’ as ‘special ceremony’ details emerge
Mesut Ozil and Fenerbahce have reportedly reached an agreement over the Arsenal midfielder's proposed transfer this month.
The Turkish club are also reportedly planning a special presentation ceremony for Ozil, who could sign his new contract as early as Saturday.
World Cup winner Ozil is out of favour at Arsenal and ready to leave after being frozen out for the first half of the season.
He has been linked with both DC United and Fenerbahce in recent weeks, but it is the Turkish club who appear to be at the front of the queue to snap up the 32-year-old.
According to reports from Turkey, everything is almost in place to welcome Ozil to Fenerbahce.

Turkish outlet Sabah, via Sport Witness, claim Ozil and Fenerbahce have reached an agreement on everything and that the midfielder's legal representatives have now spoken to Arsenal.
Ozil will apparently be handed the number 23 shirt and will be welcomed to Turkey with a special ceremony.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was asked about Ozil in his Thursday press conference, ahead of his side's clash with Newcastle.
The Spaniard said: "If something is sorted this month it is because it is good for both parties – for Mesut and for the club. If that is the case we will move forward, if it is not the case then he will continue here. We will decide what is happening in the next few days."
Fenerbahce boss Erol Bulu, meanwhile, told beIN Sports: "Mesut's name is very common. It is not possible for me to make a comment before he comes."
