Kylian Mbappe has become Paris Saint-Germain’s all-time leading goalscorer after scoring in the 4-2 win over Nantes.
The 24-year-old sat one behind Edinson Cavani prior to kick-off but wasted no time in matching the remarkable feat, scoring his 201st goal for the Ligue 1 giants.
Mbappe looked set to wait another match to break the record until he controlled a cross from Timothee Pembele well before turning and finding the bottom corner in the second minute of injury-time against Nantes.
It has taken the Frenchman 247 appearances to achieve the feat having joined PSG from Monaco in 2017 for £159.2million.
In comparison, Cavani needed 301 matches to score 200 goals during his seven-year stay in the French capital.

Christophe Galtier’s side got off to a dream start as Messi opened the scoring in the 12th minute with a left-footed volley form Fabian Ruiz’s cross.
Five minutes later, Alban Lafont parried Nuno Mendes’s attempt into the path of Hadjam who, under pressure from Nordi Mukiele, bundled the ball into his own net to give PSG a 2-0 advantage.
In the 31st minute, however, Blas whipped a fine shot past Gianluigi Donnarumma to reduce the arrears, seven minutes before Ganago deflected a corner past the Italian keeper to level the contest.
But 15 minutes into the second half, ordered was restored as Danilo headed home from Mbappe’s cross before the France forward netted his record goal with a left-footed effort from inside the box.
Mbappe will seek to add to his 201 PSG goals in the Champions League last-16 second-leg tie against Bayern Munich, with the Bundesliga side holding a 1-0 lead from the first-leg.
