Mauro Icardi had to ‘sign a contract’ from Wanda Nara in order to save marriage

The latest twist in the Mauro Icardi and Wanda Nara story is a claim that the Paris Saint-Germain star has signed over all his assets in order to save their marriage.

Icardi and Wanda's romance is a tale like no other football has ever seen, and in all honesty, it deserves to be made into a film one day for how dramatic it has been.

The pair were flung into the limelight once more recently when Wanda accused her husband of cheating.

Icardi scrambled back to Milan during his attempts to reconcile, and what he did during that trip may potentially have been revealed.

According to journalist Debora D'Amato, the striker approved a contract that granted Wanda the rights to all his deals and properties.

This contract is said to be valid until 2050, when Icardi will be 57 years old.

Wanda, who is the Argentinian's agent, has therefore become the sole owner of most of his wealth as well as his sporting image.

That means only she can decide who can use him for commercial purposes.

The couple are said to own a penthouse in Milan, where Icardi used to play for Inter, and a house on Lake Como.

Whether the contract has the desired effect for Icardi remains to be seen, as it seems he is yet to get back together with his wife.

If they were to divorce, he could be in a very vulnerable position with Wanda set to take €70million from him, as per D'Amato's report.

He therefore has every reason to try and rescue his marriage.

"The luxury cars and the real estate are in her possession. They have seven cars and five houses in Italy and Argentina," D'Amato said on an Italian talk show.

Icardi abandoned Maurcio Pochettino's PSG to focus on his relationship issues and has played just 50 minutes of football in their last five games as a result.
