Matt Le Tissier makes England vs Italy prediction – but wants Saka dropped

Matt Le Tissier is tipping England to win the Euros – but says it will be a late night for Three Lions fans.

The Southampton legend says he fancies Harry Kane’s side to win 1-0 after extra time.

He said: “I think it will be a tight and cagey match where both teams will hope to rely on their strong defence. But this feels like England’s moment.”

Le Tissier, 52, who won eight England caps, has also exclusively shared his starting eleven with the Star.

And there’s no place for Arsenal starlet Bukayo Saka or Chelsea’s Mason Mount.

He said: “The goalie and defence takes care of itself, the five who played against Denmark must start. In front of them is Phillips and Rice. But then I’d pick Foden, Sterling and Grealish to support Harry.

“It’s a team with a strong core but which will also give us license to play great attacking football.

“And, in Jack Grealish, I think we have a matchwinner. The team have been brilliant so far and I really hope they can go on and do it. ”
