Mason Greenwood training vid leaked as fans say same thing about Man Utd forward

Manchester United fans have all been saying the same thing after footage of Mason Greenwood training emerged.

Greenwood, 21, remains suspended by the Red Devils with the conclusion of their internal investigation into him yet to be announced. It began after the Crown Prosecution Service dropped his charges of attempted rape, assault and coercive behaviour in February.

He therefore hasn't been to United's Carrington complex in the last 18 months since his initial arrest in January 2022. But he has been training alone and with former team-mate Anthony Elanga last month.

A new video of Greenwood has now been leaked. In it the striker can be seen going through various shooting drills with his own personal trainers while his dad Andrew, who is also his agent, watches on behind the goal.

His attempts didn't impress United supporters, with one questioning: "What happened to his shooting…." Another argued: "He doesn’t look sharp at all."

A third echoed: "I know it’s just random training he’s doing here, but from this video, he doesn’t seem as sharp again!" And a fourth wrote: "Omg he looks like Dave from the park."

"Might as well give me a contract, he's washed," commented a fifth, while a sixth exclaimed: "I can't believe it, Mason Greenwood missing this sitter."

Greenwood is hopeful he'll be able to return to action with his boyhood club soon. It's been claimed senior players in the men's squad would support his reintegration.

Erik ten Hag remained coy when asked about the situation during United's pre-season tour in the United States. He said: “It's a club decision. Of course I have said my ideas and opinions but it's a club decision. We all have to accept that.”

The internal investigation was completed last month and the verdict is expected to be revealed before their first game of the new Premier League season, which is against Wolves next Monday (August 14).
