Mario Balotelli’s manager held back from clashing with him after angry encounter
Adana Demirspor manager Vincenzo Montella had to be held back from confronting Mario Balotelli on the pitch.
The Italian boss should have been a relatively happy man after watching his side grind out a 1-0 home victory over Umraniye. However, Montella became incensed when the former Manchester City and Liverpool forward appeared to say something as the Italian was strutting off the pitch.
At this current moment, it is unknown as to what their dispute was about or what was said between the pair. However, it was abundantly clear that whatever it was, it got under the skin of the Italian.

As Montella walked onto the pitch to shake hands with officials, opposition players, and his own team, his mood seemed to shift when he was near Balotelli. As the former Fiorentina and AC Milan manager began walking back to the sideline, Balotelli appeared to say something to him.
Within seconds, Montella became irate, immediately turning around and making a furious beeline for the controversial forward. Things became even more explosive when Balotelli turned his back on the 48-year-old during the confrontation.
The 32-year-old striker tried to walk away but Montella’s path and destruction was already laid, paved, and directed at Balotelli. Coaches and Demirspor players quickly latched onto the situation and immediately pounced upon Montella and Balotelli.

While one of Montella’s coaching staff went to Balotelli and shepherded him away from the trouble, his manager was like a bucking bronco, jumping around trying to push his players and staff off him. He jumped, jiggled, and shook his way out of his player’s clutches as best as he could, but to no avail.
At one point, Senegalese midfielder Badou Ndiaye wrapped both his arms around Montella and spun him around to keep him away from Balotelli. As amusing as the incident was, it is certainly not the first time Balotelli has been at the heart of such a dispute.
Italy manager Mancini had a training ground fracas with Balotelli during their time together at Manchester City. Things became very physical between the pair after the striker crunched City left-back Gael Clichy in training.
