Saha’s analysis of Rashford came after Manchester United’s 1-1 draw with Aston Villa on Monday night.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Saha said: ‘Physically he has recovered, but looks like he just needs more minutes. I just think he needs to relax in some sort of way.
‘The over all situation has changed. The manager has changed. The tactical aspect and the confidence of everyone has probably change a little bit too.
‘But, Marcus his just one of those players who has a lot of potential.’
Rashford was criticised by the United faithful for appearing to give up during a golden opportunity at Old Trafford on Monday night.

Saha’s analysis came after Rashford was criticised for not following up Mason Greenwood’s shot against Aston Villa on Monday evening (above)
Greenwood was sent through on goal and chose to fire a shot off instead of passing to Rashford – who ran up to support of his team-mate.
Villa goalkeeper Emi Martinez spilled the ball but Rashford was too busy ‘sulking’ to pounce on the rebound.
Fans took to social media to voice their disapproval of their academy graduate, with one supporter saying that Rashford’s perceived lack of desire was ‘f**king him off’.
As a result, Rashford was forced to publicly rubbish reports claiming he is unhappy at United, and insisted his loyalty must ‘never be in question’.
On social media, he posted: ‘We’ve all been disappointed with recent performances and we’ve been as disappointed with the news coverage questioning our commitment to not only the manager and the coaching staff but the club.
Manchester United fans reacted furiously to Rashford’s performance against Villa on Monday
In a statement, Rashford said his loyalty to his boyhood club ‘should never be in question’
‘I have endless respect for both and I’m looking forward to bettering my game under the staff at Manchester United.’
Rashford went on to say he would do his talking on the pitch before squashing any claims that he was ‘sulking’.
‘I’m not sulking, I’m not unhappy, am I disappointed in some of my recent performances? Of course I am. I’m my own biggest critic,’ he added.
‘It’s been a tough start but I’m determined to prove my worth. My dedication and my desire to be here should never be in question. I love this club.’
