Rashford opened the scoring for United against West Ham at Old Trafford on Sunday afternoon, powering a header home from Christian Eriksen’s pinpoint cross.
It was the 24-year-old’s 100th goal for his boyhood club, and Red Devils legend Neville was delighted with his effort, comparing Rashford to teammate Ronaldo.
‘I love goals like that!’ Neville said on Sky Sports.
‘This is Cristiano Ronaldo heading form. I don’t see Rashford do that too many times.
‘But he’s got one of the best headers in the world to watch every day in training and that was just like him.
‘There’s a real intent in Rashford’s game in this first half. His confidence is back. It wasn’t so long ago people were saying he should be sold.’

United would go onto win the game 1-0, holding off a late Irons charge, with Rashford named player of the match by Neville.
‘[Harry] Maguire has done well in the second half, particularly when the ball has come into the centre of the box,’ he added.
‘I was for [Lisandro] Martinez after 60 minutes, [Diogo] Dalot, we’ve highlighted how many times he’s headed it away.
‘But for that goal and his intent in the first half, I’ll give it to Rashford.’
Rashford has only ever scored seven headers for United, and becomes the first Red Devils player to hit a century of goals since club legend Wayne Rooney in 2009.
Fellow pundit Jamie Redknapp was also impressed, adding: ‘What a header from Marcus Rashford.
‘I genuinely didn’t think he had it in his locker. Eriksen does so well to lose [Tomas] Soucek with a nice step in the build up.
‘For me, it’s a magnificent header.’
