‘Unfortunately, this happened just before his planned loan move to Feyenoord. Amad will remain at United and rehabilitate back to full fitness.’

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed over the weekend that Diallo was set to go out on loan after previously suggesting that he could stay United this season.

United will consider loan requests for Daniel James with Everton and Leeds both interested
‘It’s not 100 per cent signed but we’ve agreed,’ said Solskjaer. ‘I don’t have to say which team it is yet, but we’ve found a place that Amad feels excited about and we feel excited about.’
The decision was made after United confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo is making a sensational return to Old Trafford from Juventus.
The Ronaldo deal could have implications for other United players. Leeds are expected to resurrect their interest in a loan move for Dan James, and West Ham have been encouraged to make another move for Jesse Lingard.
