Manchester United defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka has ‘liked’ a post on social media about Jadon Sancho. The Red Devils are poised to sign the Borussia Dortmund star for around £72million after a fee was agreed on Wednesday night. And his future team-mate, it seems, is happy with the news.
Manchester United have spent four years tracking Sancho, with interest dating back to Jose Mourinho’s time in charge.
But they’re now poised to land their man, 12 months after Dortmund had priced them out of a deal.
For United, the signing of Sancho is huge. They’re signing one of the world’s most exciting young players, one who has the potential to get better in the coming years ahead.
And Wan-Bissaka seems to approve.
Twitter account @Vishy_united spotted actor Harry Pinero sharing a snap of himself with Sancho, saying on social media: “Welcome to Manchester United Football Club @sanchooo10, i’ll now be going be (sic) the name Sir Harrington The 1st. #WeAreWinning.”
And Wan-Bissaka has given the post a like on his own Instagram account.

That suggests the right-back is happy with the development and that’s no surprise, given they’ll be working in tandem together next term.
The question for United now, however, is who is up next?
The Glazers know they need to spend big this summer to heal the wounds from the European Super League debacle, something they’ve insisted they’re happy to do.
And Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is hoping to make three more signings as the club hunt a first Premier League title since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement back in 2013.
Next up, the club are primed to pursue Raphael Varane.
Ferguson himself wanted the Real Madrid star a decade ago, believing he’d be the perfect long-term replacement for Rio Ferdinand.

Real Madrid ultimately won the race and have seen the France international shine over the past decade, helping them to three La Liga titles as well as the Champions League crown on four occasions.
Real have already lost Sergio Ramos and would loathe to lose another defensive star.
But Varane is keen to pursue a new challenge elsewhere and, consequently, a move to Old Trafford is set to beckon.
At right-back, United want Kieran Trippier.
They saw Alex Telles galvanise Luke Shaw on the opposite side last season and believe Trippier can do the same with Wan-Bissaka.
And they’re also keen to recruit a central midfielder amid interest in the likes of Eduardo Camavinga, Ruben Neves and Declan Rice.
Meanwhile, Rio Ferdinand has reacted to United’s deal for Sancho.
And he believes the 21-year-old can offer a new dimension to Solskjaer’s attack, telling his YouTube channel FIVE: “We still need other parts. There’s other cogs we need still.
“On the right hand side, and the left hand side, we haven’t got a winger who goes on the outside. Who goes on the outside, and can cross the ball.
“That’s what you need. He can go both ways, plays with both feet, and on that right wing, as well as Mason’s done, and I’m a massive Mason Greenwood fan, out there, having a winger.
“This is Man United, always associate yourselves with wingers, always have done over the years. In our most successful times, there’s always been wide players who can go out there and cross the ball.
“Mason, he comes inside, he wants goals. It’s a good element, it’s an important aspect, but Jadon will give you both options, and for a full-back, terrible news.
“That’s the beautiful thing about him, the game doesn’t quicken up in his mind.
“He gets into those fast situations where for a lot of players it becomes hazy. His is a clear picture still, running at full speed or not. He sees it in pure HD.
“That’s the element he’s going to bring, and the element of going out on the outside, beating the full-back and crossing it.
“Then you’ve got Mason Greenwood, Cavani, Rashford coming in from the other side. We should be getting more goals from those scenarios next season to add to the attacking variety.”
