Manchester United set asking price for West Ham to sign Harry Maguire
Manchester United are seeking a fee of £40million to allow Harry Maguire to leave the club, with West Ham leading the race to sign the England ace.

The 30-year-old made just eight Premier League starts last season as Erik ten Hag settled on Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez as his preferred centre-back pairing.
Maguire, a £80m signing from Leicester in 2019, endured a torrid 2021/22 campaign and his confidence has barely recovered since.
The England ace remains the most expensive defender of all-time and Ten Hag is happy for him to compete for a spot next season, whilst remaining unwilling to give him any guarantees over playing time.
But United are working on a tight budget this summer, with the Dutchman given just £120m to spend.
With Andre Onana’s arrival set to take United’s spending past the £100m mark, the club need to raise funds if they’re to sign a striker.
And the Daily Mail say United will therefore accept offers in the region of £40m for Maguire.
West Ham, having allowed Declan Rice to join Arsenal for £105m, now have money to spend.
David Moyes is a huge fan of Maguire but the defender would have to take a significant paycut to join the Hammers.
Maguire earns around £200,000-a-week at Old Trafford.
Maguire wants regular first team football next season ahead of the European Championships next summer.
Gareth Southgate has warned Maguire that he risks his starting spot for the Three Lions if he continues his malaise at Old Trafford.
