Manchester United handed major injury boost as Paul Pogba among four players return for Milan trip
Manchester United have welcomed Paul Pogba, David de Gea, Edinson Cavani and Donny van de Beek back into the travelling squad for Thursday’s Europa League trip to AC Milan.
Pogba, Cavani and van de Beek have all recovered from injury to be back in contention for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, while De Gea is available again after attending the birth of his first child in Spain.
Anthony Martial will not travel with the squad to Milan after picking up an injury in Sunday’s 1-0 win over West Ham, while Eric Bailly and Shola Shoretire will also be left at home.
Juan Mata remains sidelined through injury but Amad will join the 21-man travelling party, as United look to secure a place in the quarter-finals.
Amad’s first United goal was cancelled out by a late Simon Kjaer header in a 1-1 first leg draw at Old Trafford last week.
