Man Utd’s potential owner Sheikh Jassim seen in rare picture at luxurious palace
Manchester United bidder Sheikh Jassim has been spotted in a rare photo after speculation over whether he is real or not.
The Qatari banker has been battling for months to buy the Red Devils from the Glazer family. He seems to have shrugged off the competition of Britain's richest man Sir Jim Ratcliffe.
But news of progress on his potential takeover has once again gone quiet in the last week, leaving Erik ten Hag's summer transfer plans somewhat in the lurch.
With there being limited images of Sheikh Jassim online, and him not making a public appearance since beginning his pursuit for United, some question marks had begun to be raised about his identity.

But he has now been seen in a picture shared to Instagram by his dad, who was sat down with three of sons inside a luxurious building. He wrote in Arabic: "With the boys Jassim, Saheem bin Khalid and Fahad."
Sheikh Jassim has been waiting patiently to learn if his offer, believed to be in the region of £5.5billion, has been successful. It would see the Glazers depart for good and also clear United's current debt, which stands at around £536m.

Ratcliffe's proposal, also believed to be north of the £5bn mark, would only involve him purchasing a majority stake in the club for now, leaving the door open for the highly unpopular current owners to stay on in some capacity.
The majority of fans have favoured Sheikh Jassim as a result, as evidenced in the comments section of his father's social media post. One fan wrote: "Please do everything to buy Manchester United."
Another replied: "GGMU, please don't give up we want you to own United!!" A third said: "Our new owner!!!!!" And a fourth added: "We're waiting for you, Sheikh."
