Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing both Jude Bellingham and Frenkie de Jong. The Red Devils have previously pursued the pair to no avail but, despite that, Erik ten Hag remains keen. And the Dutchman is also apparently eyeing Cody Gakpo and Denzel Dumfries in the wake of the pair’s impressive performances at the World Cup in Qatar.
Manchester United tried to bring in Bellingham back in the summer transfer window of 2020, when he was strutting his stuff at Birmingham City.
However, the Red Devils missed out despite introducing the midfielder to club legends such as Bryan Robson and Sir Alex Ferguson.
United eyed De Jong earlier in the year, with Ten Hag convinced his compatriot could be recruited despite the midfielder repeatedly making it clear he wants to stay at Barcelona.
But, like with Bellingham, interest from the Red Devils remains.
United are also being linked with Dumfries and Gakpo, of Inter Milan and PSV Eindhoven respectively.
So Express Sport now takes a look at how Ten Hag’s team would be able to line up if all four players end up moving to Old Trafford.
Man Utd transfers: Ten Hag is going to sign his own Haaland
Goalkeeper: De Gea
United are torn over what to do when it comes to their goalkeeping department.
But Ten Hag has confirmed they’ll activate clauses in deals for players whose contracts expire at the end of the season, which includes David De Gea.
Therefore, for the time being, it’s reasonable to expect the Spain international will still be the club’s No 1 by the time next season commences.
United do have Dean Henderson out on loan, with the shot-stopper spending the campaign with Nottingham Forest.
But De Gea has barely put a foot wrong this term and is Ten Hag’s undisputed No 1, despite the arrival of Martin Dubravka back in the summer.

Defence: Dumfries, Varane, Martinez, Shaw
United have been credited with an interest in Dumfries, who sparkled as the Netherlands made the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar.
Should he join, he could go into the team at right-back – despite the impressive form of Diogo Dalot.
At centre-back, nothing will disturb a partnership of Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez while both players are fully fit.
That spells trouble for Harry Maguire, who impressed at the World Cup, while Victor Lindelof will also struggle for regular action due to his two team-mates.
Luke Shaw has won his battle with Tyrell Malacia after a difficult start to the season, so he makes the team at left-back.

Midfield: Casemiro, De Jong, Bellingham
Bruno Fernandes is a talisman of this United team but even he could struggle for regular action if both De Jong and Bellingham arrive.
Deals for the pair will be tricky, and there’s a sense the Red Devils will only end up signing one – instead of both of them.
But, with United admiring the duo, it’s feasible they’d walk straight into Ten Hag’s team with Fernandes and Christian Eriksen potentially being the fall guys.
Then, operating as anchor, would go Casemiro.
The Brazil international has been outstanding since joining from Real Madrid, bringing composure and experience to a United midfield that sorely needed it.
Forwards: Antony, Gakpo, Rashford
United do hope Anthony Martial can kick on and develop further now the France international doesn’t have Cristiano Ronaldo reducing his game time.
But, regardless, the Red Devils are keen on a move for Gakpo.
The Netherlands international scored three World Cup goals this winter and has found the net nine times from 14 Eredivisie matches so far.
Gakpo would potentially play down the middle, despite being a winger by trade.
And Antony and Marcus Rashford would go either side of the 23-year-old, meaning Jadon Sancho and Alejandro Garnacho – along with Martial – would be options off the bench.
