Man Utd’s dream, realistic and worst case line ups under Solskjaer next season
Manchester United have a huge transfer window ahead of them with Ed Woodward approaching the end of his tenure at Old Trafford, with the transfer decision-maker set to continue rebuilding Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's squad.
Woodward will leave at the end of the season after resigning in disgrace after the European Super League fiasco.
Before he goes, however, he will have one final chance to adhere himself to United fans, who have never hidden their feelings towards him.
United have three or four positions they want to improve this summer, but their two priorities are clear – the signing of a central defensive partner to Harry Maguire and a new centre-forward.
Erling Haaland, Declan Rice, Raphael Varane and Jadon Sancho are among the targets they've been linked with ahead of the upcoming window.
But with finances set to be fairly tight due to the ongoing impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic, how successful will the Red Devils be in the window?
Daily Star Sport has taken a look at the dream, realistic and worst-case line-ups United fans could see at Old Trafford next season.

A transfer window like this could change United fans' view of Woodward and set him up perfectly as he looks for a new role in football.
With the likes of Mason Greenwood, Donny van de Beek, Scott McTominay and Anthony Martial on the bench, United would almost certainly become title challengers once again.
Manchester United's realistic XI for 2021/22
Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Varane, Maguire, Shaw; Pogba, McTominay; Sancho, Fernandes, Rashford; Greenwood
It's entirely likely that United's coaching staff will want to move Greenwood to the middle from out wide before long, considering he's often been described as the club's best finisher.
United are eager for two Borussia Dortmund stars this summer – Haaland and Jadon Sancho. Of the two, it seems Sancho is a more realistic target due to Dortmund's £130million valuation of the Norwegian.
Manchester United's worst case XI for 2021/22
Henderson; Wan-Bissaka, Maguire, Bailly, Shaw; McTominay, Fred; Greenwood, Fernandes, Rashford; Martial
United's worst-case scenario for the upcoming transfer window would be for them to have a repeat of last year, when they were left scrambling around for alternative targets after missing out on their prime options.
Their real worst-case scenario would be if they lose Pogba and still fail to sign any of their top targets.
If they did, they'd be left dangerously short of quality options in depth, and wouldn't be looking at challenging for the title any time soon.
