Man Utd vs Chelsea kick-off time, TV channel and how to watch for free
Ten Hag demands improvements from Man Utd squad against Chelsea
Manchester United will be desperate to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford this evening. The Red Devils have endured a turbulent campaign to date but will have high hopes of beating their London rivals, who remain stuck in mid-table after winning just five games all season.
Erik ten Hag is feeling the pressure in his second season at United, who are five points adrift of the Premier League’s top four while facing an early exit from the Champions League after struggling in Europe. A win against Chelsea could go a long way to turning their fortunes around, with the packed festive period looming large.
The Blues, meanwhile, will be similarly desperate to get a result after returning to winning ways against Brighton in their last outing. They have shown flashes of brilliance at times but are yet to fully click under the guidance of Mauricio Pochettino, who has lost half of his 14 games against United as a manager.

Man Utd team news
Mason Mount is facing a race against time to play against his former club after suffering a calf strain in training. The 24-year-old has missed United’s last three games in all competitions and it is likely to be a late call on whether or not he makes the squad for tonight’s game.
United already have a large number of players on the treatment table, with the likes of Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans, Tyrell Malacia and Amad Diallo out injured.

Chelsea team news
Reece James will be available for selection after serving his one-match ban following his red card against Newcastle. However, the Blues will be without Conor Gallagher, who was sent off in the victory over Brighton on Sunday.
Cole Palmer was named on the bench in that fixture but could feature from the start this evening, with Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia still set to miss out. Malo Gusto, Ben Chilwell, Carney Chukwuemeka, Trevoh Chalobah and Wesley Fofana will also remain sidelined along with two new absentees in Noni Madueke and Lesley Ugochukwu.
