Man Utd transfer round-up: Bayern Munich star Coman opens up on Red Devils links
Things are looking good for Manchester United following Liverpool's latest slip-up in a 1-0 defeat to Southampton on Monday night.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side know a win over Burnley next week would move them above of their bitter rivals at the top of the table ahead of their crunch clash on January 17.
And while things are certainly getting exciting on the pitch, there could soon be movement off it too as United look to strengthen their squad before the end of the month.
So what is all the latest transfer news coming out of Old Trafford?
Here's a look at just three bits of gossip…
Coman opens up on future
Bayern Munich forward Kingsley Coman is a man who has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League.
The 24-year-old winger scored the winner for his side in last season's Champions League final, but has regularly been touted with a switch to either United or Manchester City.
Speaking to German publication Bild recently, Coman admitted he is flattered with the links – but is happy at Bayern for now.
"It’s good to know that good teams are interested in me, it gives me additional confidence, he said. "But I have a contract here until 2023, I’m just thinking of Bavaria. It’s all good, I’m happy."
Ferdinand urges United to swoop for Grealish
Former United centre-back Rio Ferdinand is convinced the club should make a move for Aston Villa star Jack Grealish.
And he insists he would not care if Paul Pogba left if it meant Grealish lining up for the Red Devils.
Speaking on Rio Ferdinand Presents FIVE, he said: "I don’t care if Pogba goes or not, Grealish is my man.
“I have heard from a lot of people that he is diligent in all the work he does off the pitch to get to where he is now. You are seeing results week in and week out.

"If I am a manager of a top team in England, a top three or four team, then I would not allow him to stay there, I would go and take him."
Williams touted for Newcastle
Brandon Williams could be set to join Newcastle on loan until the end of the season.
The 20-year-old full-back has fallen down Solskjaer's pecking order recently, and has made just one appearance in the Premier League all season.
It is believed the Magpies are looking to battle Southampton for Williams' signature.
And according to the Shields Gazette Newcastle are the current front-runners.
