Manchester United have been part of a busy January transfer window already as Erik ten Hag moved quickly to replace Cristiano Ronaldo with Burnley striker Wout Weghorst on loan until the end of the season. The Dutchman may not be done this month either, as there are still holes to fill in the squad as part of a potential title push with the Red Devils just eight points behind Premier League leaders Arsenal.
United travel to Arsenal on Sunday in the hopes that their gap can be cut to five, and Ten Hag will have several decisions to make ahead of the trip to the Emirates. Weghorst started in the 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace, his first appearance since cutting his Besiktas loan short and moving to Old Trafford.
Whether he will be joined by further additions in January remains to be seen, as Ten Hag has reportedly wished for another midfielder while Harry Kane has been linked with a blockbuster summer move and will have just a year left on his Tottenham contract at the end of the campaign.

Ten Hag’s Reus meeting
Erik ten Hag reportedly held a secret meeting with Marco Reus’ agent ahead of a possible transfer for the Borussia Dortmund stalwart.
The 33-year-old’s contract in Germany expires at the end of the season and he has been linked with a move to Al Nassr with Cristiano Ronaldo, but the injury-hit star also appears to be of interest to United.
Whether United would be prepared to pay a fee to land the midfielder this month or wait until the summer remains to be seen, but he could provide key squad depth after Donny van de Beek’s injury ruled him out for the remainder of the season. You can read more HERE.
Jude Bellingham alternative
Manchester United are one of Jude Bellingham’s many admirers, following his exploits at the World Cup with England.
However, Liverpool and Real Madrid are thought to be the frontrunners for the 19-year-old’s signature and Ten Hag’s side may have to look elsewhere.
The Dutchman could line up a reunion with former Ajax midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, who has yet to make a Bundesliga start since moving to Bayern Munich.
United could test Bayern’s resolve, while Gravenberch has previously hinted he would be interested in a move to Old Trafford. You can read more HERE.
Harry Kane price tag
Tottenham have slashed Harry Kane’s asking price having previously demanded over £150million from Manchester City for the England captain.
The Daily Mail claim that amid United’s fresh interest in the striker, they would be prepared to accept offers upwards of £85m.
Kane has scored 15 goals in 20 Premier League games this season and has been earmarked as a potential summer signing for Erik ten Hag’s side.
