Man Utd transfer news LIVE – £50m Liverpool hijack, Hojlund medical
Manchester United are looking at what deals they can complete after Rasmus Hojlund, with a deal for the striker almost wrapped up. Erik ten Hag is keen to make further additions as well as move on a number of unwanted players from his squad.
Hojlund is set to take United’s spending past £170million this summer. The young forward has agreed to join after a fee of £72m was agreed with Atalanta.
He will become the third high-profile signing of the window for Ten Hag following deals for Mason Mount and Andre Onana. The Red Devils are not set to stop there and could hijack Liverpool’s move for a top target.
Ten Hag will attempt to raise further cash through outgoings. Developments are also expected over the future of Mason Greenwood in the coming days.

Hojlund medical
Rasmus Hojlund will travel to Manchester today, reports claim.
The Athletic says that he will undergo a medical ahead of his £72m move from Atalanta.
Personal terms have already been agreed upon between United and Hojlund.
He will sign a five-year contract with the option of a further year.
Liverpool hijack
Manchester United are reportedly in the race to sign Romeo Lavia.
Liverpool have already seen a bid rejected by Southampton for the midfielder.
But the Daily Mail says the youngster is now on the radar of Erik ten Hag.
However, United would have to sell first to raise some much-needed cash.
Southampton want around £50m for Lavia, who they signed last year from Manchester City.
