Man Utd to raid Ajax yet again as Erik ten Hag hijacks deal for Brian Brobbey
Manchester United are looking to hijack Ajax's move RB Leipzig's Brian Brobbey as Erik ten Hag continues to try and raid his former club.
The Red Devils have raised their offer for the Eredivisie club's centre back Lisandro Martinez to £42.5 million and are still keeping tabs on young defender Jurrien Timber and Brazilian forward Anthony.
But not content with just nicking Ajax's players, United are now going after their transfer targets, with 20-year-old winger Brobbey firmly in their cross-hairs.

Brobbey – a product of Ajax's famed youth academy – was handed his professional debut by Ten Hag in 2020, but left the club in search of regular first-team football when his contract expired a year later.
He was picked up by Leipzig, but after failing to nail down a starting spot was loaned back to the Johan Cruyff Arena in January. There, he exploded into life and netted seven goals in 11 matches to help Ajax seal their third-straight league title.

Brobbey's sparkling form has turned a few heads at Ajax and they're mulling over a move to bring the £16.5 million-rated youngster back to Amsterdam, but United's interest in the player could complicate things, with the Dutch outfit reluctant to start a bidding war.
The Red Devils, who flew out for their pre-season tour of Thailand and Australia on Friday, are still looking to bring in another couple of central midfielders before the end of the summer while Cristiano Ronaldo's bombshell transfer request means another striker will probably have to be recruited too.
Christian Eriksen is expected to join on a free transfer in the coming days, but their long-standing pursuit of Frenkie de Jong appears to have to run aground.
