Man Utd team news: Expected XI for Sheffield Utd clash – Solskjaer to make four changes
Man Utd: Solskjaer reacts to 3-2 win over Liverpool
Manchester United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could make four changes for his side’s Premier League clash with Sheffield United on Wednesday night. The Red Devils go into the game looking to build on their 3-2 victory over Liverpool over the weekend. So Express Sport will now bring you the latest team news and expected starting XI for the showdown at Old Trafford.
Goalkeeper: De Gea
Dean Henderson started for United against Liverpool and fared well.
But the Red Devils should restore David De Gea for the match against Sheffield United, with the Spain international sitting out the last game.
United have rotated their goalkeepers this term.
But De Gea is their undisputed No 1 so he’s expected to come in for the contest.
He conceded against Fulham last time out and will be looking to keep more clean sheets as United hunt a first Premier League title since 2013.

Defence: Wan-Bissaka, Bailly, Maguire, Shaw
United’s full-backs have been much improved of late, impressing both defensively and offensively amid their fine form.
Therefore, we can’t see Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Luke Shaw being dropped to the bench – even if the pair might require a breather soon.
Eric Bailly may come in for Victor Lindelof, with the Ivory Coast international back to his best.
And United seldom drop Harry Maguire, so he should start as well.
They’ll be looking to keep a clean sheet after conceding three goals in their last two matches.

Midfield: Fred, McTominay, Fernandes
United may opt to rotate their midfield for Wednesday’s match.
That means Bruno Fernandes is virtually guaranteed to come in for Donny van de Beek, who disappointed in the victory over Liverpool.
And Fred may come in for Mason Greenwood.
That would enable Paul Pogba to keep his place in the side, albeit on the wing rather than in the middle of the park.
So we’re expecting a midfield trident of Fred, Scott McTominay and Fernandes to start.
Attack: Rashford, Cavani, Pogba
As mentioned above, Pogba should start.
He’s been a rejuvenated figure for United of late, starring as they’ve climbed their way to the top of the table.
Marcus Rashford may get the nod, too.
He was forced out of the match against Liverpool through injury but Solskjaer appeared relaxed on his condition when speaking on Friday.
And Edinson Cavani will likely keep his place down the middle, with the Uruguay international really starting to come good.
Managers give team news
Solskjaer said Rashford was available for the match against Sheffield United, saying: “Marcus is available, yeah.
“He trained this morning. I think he tweaked his knee a little bit but should be fine.
“We are looking strong, which is a good place to be in.”
Meanwhile, Sheffield United boss Chris Wilder admitted his side were unsure over the fitness of forwards Oli McBurnie and Lys Mousset.
“We’re waiting on Mousset,” confirmed Wilder.
“Potentially, there are nine players from our group unavailable for Wednesday. Fingers crossed, there might be one or two of those boys back for the weekend [at Manchester City].”
