Man Utd target Leon Goretzka flaunts beast-like physique as ‘offer submitted’
Manchester United are reportedly keen on signing Leon Goretzka this summer – and it’s easy to see why.
Goretzka has established himself as a key player for Bayern Munich and Germany in recent years, forming a brilliant midfield partnership with Joshua Kimmich.
The 26-year-old is a dynamic box-to-box player with a brilliant engine who picked up five goals and five assists in 24 Bundesliga appearances last season.
Despite his impressive performances over the past year, Goretzka has entered the final 12 months of his current contract with Bayern.
New manager Julian Nagelsmann wants to keep the German international and recently described him as “one of the most dangerous players in the Bundesliga” and “the cornerstone of the team”.
But the club has reportedly reached a stalemate in negotiations with Goretzka’s representatives.
As reported bySport Bild, Bayern are unwilling to break their wage structure to accommodate Goretzka, who could therefore be tempted to look elsewhere.
David Alaba joined Real Madrid this summer after reaching a contract deadlock with Bayern and Bild says United have now tabled a ‘concrete offer’ for his services.

Real Madrid and Barcelona are both also in the frame, with Gortezka’s new agent Thomas Kroth leading negotiations after Jorg Neubauer retired.
United are concerned about Paul Pogba, who has entered the final year of his deal and has been linked with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, and are lining up Goretzka as a £200,000 per week replacement.
If he does move to Old Trafford, either this summer or next, then United fans are likely to be taken by his social media activity.
That’s because Goretzka has a ripped physique that he is not shy about showing off, regularly posting topless pictures on his Instagram.
His latest offering shows the midfielder bench pressing a woman alongside a caption in German, which translates as: “Dad says: ‘Women should be carried on your hands!’”
Goretzka has undergone quite the physical transformation since joining Bayern from Schalke in 2018.
"For me, lockdown was both a crisis and an opportunity," he told Bild last year.
