Man Utd squads wages in full as Cristiano Ronaldo and co forced to take pay cut
Manchester United's failure to qualify for the Champions League this season has reportedly led to a 25% reduction in players' salaries, forcing stars like Cristiano Ronaldo to take colossal pay cuts.
United finished sixth in the Premier League last term, 13 points adrift of Tottenham in fourth. Their failure to book a seat at Europe's top table has meant a sizeable drop in income, with no Champions League prize money entering into the coffers.
That loss of revenue has seemingly been passed onto the players, with reports over the last month suggesting that all of United's stars have had their salaries reduced by 25%.

Daily Star Sport takes a look at what that means in real terms, starting with Ronaldo himself.
Cristiano Ronaldo – £360,000
Ronaldo agreed to a deal believed to be worth in excess of £25million-per-year to rejoin United from Juventus last summer.

But that is now close to £19million-per-year based on reports of a 25% salary cut for United's stars. According to the MEN, Ronaldo is "upset" with the drop in wages.
Jadon Sancho – £262,500
United agreed to pay Jadon Sancho £350,000-per-week when he joined the club from Borussia Dortmund. But 12 months on, his pay has been cut by almost £100,000-per-week, giving him a weekly wage of £262,500-per-week. Improved performances from the 22-year-old this season could see United return to the Champions League.
Marcus Rashford – £150,000
It's nice simple maths where Marcus Rashford is concerned. Having pocketed £200,000-per-week last season, the 24-year-old England international now earns £150,000-per-week after a reported 25% wage cut. Once considered United's golden boy, Rashford is another who will be hoping for a better season this time around.
David de Gea – £280,000
Having been at the club since 2011, it's no surprise De Gea is one of United's highest-earners, even after the pay cut. The Spaniard has 12 months left on his current deal at Old Trafford, while the club have the option of extending his stay for a further year after that.
Tom Heaton – £45,000
Salary decreases typically affect those at the bottom of the food chain much more than those at the top. And a £15,000 reduction in 35-year-old back-up goalkeeper Tom Heaton's £60,000-per-week deal mean he now earns £45,000-per-week.
Raphael Varane – £255,000
Raphael Varane hasn't exactly set the world alight since his move from Real Madrid last year, but he's still earning a fair wedge even after a drop in his previous £340,000-per-week deal. The Frenchman still has three years remaining on his four-year deal.
Donny van de Beek – £75,000
Outcast midfielder Donny van de Beek will be hoping for something of a fresh start under new boss Ten Hag. The Dutchman spent the second half of last season on loan at Everton as United failed to qualify for the Champions League, something which meant his wages dropped to £75,000-per-week.
Phil Jones – £56,000
Another long-serving member of the United squad, Jones' salary doesn't quite compare to long-term team-mate De Gea. His salary drops down to £56,000-per-week from £75,000-per-week.
Harry Maguire – £142,500
Having cost £80million from Leicester in 2019, Maguire's wages were always going to be near the top end of the scale. But despite being United's captain, his salary doesn't compare too favourably with Ronaldo or De Gea. His pay has sunk below the £150,000-per-week mark following the reported 25% reduction.
Eric Bailly – £60,000
Eric Bailly, remember him? Well, the 28-year-old defender is still knocking about Old Trafford, and he's still earning pretty well, even after a pay decrease. Based on his previous wage of £80,000-per-week, the Ivory Coast international now takes home £60,000-per-week.
Victor Lindelof – £90,000
Yep, Victor Lindelof is still at United, too. In fact, he still has just over two years' left on his Red Devils contract. But that deal is now worth below £100K-a-week following the club's failure to qualify for the Champions League.
Diogo Dalot – £18,750
Perhaps one of the biggest shocks on United's wage bill, Dalot only managed to bag himself a weekly wage of £25k when joining from Porto in 2018. That has dropped to just £18,750 over the last couple of months.
Alex Telles – £69,750
Brazil international Alex Telles brought his Old Trafford nightmare to a temporary end by joining Sevilla on loan earlier this summer. His United wages are now below £70,000-per-week, down from £93K before the current season.
Luke Shaw – £112,500
England's first-choice left-back has had an up-and-down time of things since joining United from Southampton in 2014. But he doesn't do too badly where his bank account his concerned. Even with the recent wage decrease, Shaw still earns £112,500-per-week.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka – £67,500
The future looks uncertain for Aaron Wan-Bissaka following the arrival of Erik ten Hag. United could save a bob or two if they manage to shift his £67,500-per-week wages off of their wage bill.
Fred – £90,000
One half of United's 'McFred' midfield combo, Fred himself now earns £90,000-per-week after the club missed out on the Champions League last season. The Brazil international has 12 months remaining on his current deal.
Scott McTominay – £15,000
Academy graduate Scott McTominay has established himself as one of United's most dependable players over the last few seasons, yet his salary doesn't reflect that. He has a deal which runs until 2025, and could be extended for another year, but only takes home £15k-a-week.
Bruno Fernandes – £180,000
One of United's few bright sparks over the last couple of years, Bruno Fernandes takes home a healthy wage that is commensurate with his performances. Despite signing a new contract earlier this year which bumped his pay to £240k-per-week, a 25% decrease takes it back down to £180,000-per-week.
Christian Eriksen – £150,000
Former Tottenham and Brentford star Christian Eriksen catapulted himself to near the top of United's highest-earners after agreeing a three-year deal worth £150,000-per-week earlier this summer. Ten Hag deployed him as a false nine in the first game of the season against Brighton, causing confusion among supporters.
Lisandro Martinez – £120,000
Various reports put new signing Lisandro Martinez's wages at around £120,000-per-week. Ten Hag brought the defender across from his old club Ajax and will be hoping that he can hit the ground running at Old Trafford this season.
