Martial U-turn

Anthony Martial could yet remain at Old Trafford beyond this month's transfer window, it has been claimed.

The French forward has been linked with a move away and is reported to be interesting the likes of Sevilla and Newcastle United.

But ESPN reports United interim boss Ralf Rangnick is "open to the idea of rebuilding his relationship" with Martial.

The report adds that United would want a loan fee and all of Martial's wages covered in order to allow his departure this month, and if they do not receive a suitable bid the player will stay "until at least the end of the season."

United "on pole" for Milinkovic-Savic

Manchester United lead the race for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to reports.

According to Italian outlet Il Messaggero, for Lazio to "open a new cycle’, they must "sacrifice" their star player next summer.

The club are reportedly hoping to raise in excess of £67million with the Serbian's departure and would hope to reinvest that money in new players to freshen up Maurizio Sarri's first-team squad.

United would face competition to secure the player's signature, however, with the report adding that Juventus and Inter Milan "remain vigilant".
