Man Utd making progress in transfer hunt for Eduardo Camavinga
Manchester United are making progress in their bid to sign Eduardo Camavinga, according to reports.
Camavinga, 18, is one of Europe's hottest young talents after impressing with Rennes in Ligue 1 last season.
The midfielder is courting the attention of some of the continent's top clubs, including Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.
But it's United who lead the race for the starlet, with The Guardian claiming they're making headway as they attempt to secure a deal.
Rennes are said to be open to selling Camavinga for around £25.7million or they could risk losing him for free next summer, when his contract is due to expire.
Camavinga's rise has been rapid. He made his Rennes debut as a 16-year-old in 2019, becoming the youngest player to ever play for the club's first-team.
He has now made 82 appearances for the side and last August became the youngest player to be called up to the France squad since 1932.
The Angolan-born star has made three appearances for the National Team and will represent France at this month's Olympic Football tournament in Tokyo.

United midfielder Paul Pogba gave Camavinga a glowing reference when they linked up on international duty last month, something which could give the Red Devils an upper hand in their pursuit of the star.
"It is a pleasure to see him don the [France] shirt," he said. "To score after his first start [against Ukraine], that is honestly wonderful.
"I was truly happy for him. I only wish him the best and much more. He has everything for that. His future is in his hands.
"He is very at ease, he is a little dancer. He makes me think a bit about me. He is not a timid person.
"It is good, because he is confident. He has confidence in his qualities. He is a very good youngster, I like him enormously."
