Man Utd make Eduardo Camavinga, Saul Niguez and Ruben Neves transfer decisions
Manchester United have made a transfer decision on Eduardo Camavinga, Saul Niguez and Ruben Neves for this summer.
The Red Devils have completed a lot of their business early in the window, with Jadon Sancho arriving last month and Raphael Varane expected imminently.
But there was still doubt about the future of midfielder Paul Pogba, with the Frenchman only having one year left on his deal and PSG in the hunt.
The French side, though, have made a U-turn on their interest in the 28-year-old after securing a two-year deal for footballing icon Lionel Messi.
And the Mail have reported that this has had a knock-on effect over United’s own transfer strategy for the rest of the window.
Pogba has rejected a new contract offer at Old Trafford, meaning he will leave at the end of the 2021/22 season for free.
There is also no animosity between the club and player, with the Frenchman ‘looking forward’ to the new season and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer holding him in ‘high regard’.

But the report states that it has seen United ‘shelf their interest’ in transfer targets Camavinga, Niguez and Neves.
The French teenager had been labelled as as successor to Pogba in midfield, having emerged in the same position at Rennes in 2019.
And Solskjaer had been pushing for a deal, with the Ligue 1 side willing to let him leave for £25m.
Atletico Madrid’s midfielder Niguez has been in United’s sights for several months, with Daily Star Sport reporting in January that he was the main target had their current No.6 left.
While the Spaniard’s position at the Wanda Metropolitano even left the Red Devils ‘convinced’ a £45m deal was possible.
Neves was the only target with Premier League experience, having played for Wolves over the last three seasons in the English top-flight.
And United’s decision may come as bad news to the Portuguese midfielder, with the 24-year-old reportedly being allowed to leave if £35m was offered.
