Roy Keane has raised concerns that Leicester could drop out of the top-four just as they did last year, amid a host of injury struggles. The Foxes were dealt another cruel blow once again yesterday, with Harvey Barnes set to undergo an operation on his knee.
The left-sided attacker, who has been excellent in recent weeks, was stretchered off in the 3-1 defeat to Arsenal at the King Power Stadium.
Brendan Rodgers has already had to cope with a host of injury problems this season and now Keane fears it could prove too much in their pursuit of Champions League football.
“Just over the last week you look at Leicester,” he told Sky Sports. “You look at last year when they were in a great position, and now they’ve picked up injuries.
“I think it was Barnes today and obviously [James] Maddison is struggling.

“They’ve got a nice little cushion but you’d worry for Leicester and obviously West Ham.
“You’d think if Liverpool went on role, could Everton pick up some results. Then obviously Chelsea.
“You’ve got Man United and Man City as the guaranteed two, it will be a good fight until the end of the season.”
Liverpool are now within two points of fourth-placed West Ham after their 2-0 win at Sheffield United.

The Reds are now looking to turn the corner and get back amongst the Champions League places, ahead of Thursday’s clash with Chelsea.
Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp says his side will continue to focus on their own results and now what goes on around them.
“I have no problem and I never thought about controlling the situation,” he said after the triumph at Bramall Lane. “You just have to win football games, and the rest is controlled by itself.
“There is no way without results into the Champions League, and that is what we need. Tonight we got it, and now we keep on going.”
Keane, who argued with Jamie Redknapp earlier in the show over Tottenham squad, is not convinced Jose Mourinho’s side have the capability or consistency to close the gap though.
He added: “We’ll see what Spurs it is, like you said. Fulham and Palace over the next couple of games.
“You think Spurs should win, especially if the players stay fit as they can do damage to any team, but I guarantee Mourinho will be saying he can’t play Bale in every game.
“These are the type of games that I can guarantee Spurs will slip up in.
“You’ve seen it over the past five, 10, 15 years where you think ‘go on Spurs’ and they come up short. I don’t think they will be top four obviously.”
