Man Utd handed Kingsley Coman transfer boost with Bayern Munich chiefs ‘worried’

Bayern Munich are reportedly worried about Kingsley Coman's future at the club, with Manchester United said to be preparing a summer swoop.

Coman, who scored the winning goal in last season's Champions League final, is under contract with Bayern until 2023 and the Bundesliga giants are keen to extend his deal.

However, German publication Bild are reporting that United have approached Coman's representatives with a deal that would see the player almost double his wages.

The report claims that Coman is currently earning £140,000-a-week and United's proposal would see them rise to £260,000-a-week.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side were linked with a move for the France international over the summer when it became clear that they were unlikely to sign top target Jadon Sancho.

With Bayern looking to extend Coman's contract, they are hoping to avoid a repeat of the situations with Thiago Alcantara and David Alaba.

Thiago completed a cut-price move to Liverpool over the summer, with his Bayern contract having just a year remaining and the German side facing the prospect of losing him for free at the end of the season.

Alaba also had a year left on his deal at the start if the current campaign and he has announced that he will be leaving on a free in the summer.

Speaking at a press conference earlier this month, Alaba revealed: "I have decided to do something new. "It wasn't an easy decision. I have not yet made the decision where to go.
