Man Utd given chance to sign Ryan Gravenberch with Bayern ‘interested in swap’

Manchester United outcast Scott McTominay could reportedly be used in a shock player-exchange deal for Bayern Munich’s Ryan Gravenberch, it has been claimed in the German media. McTominay is supposedly attracting interest from the Bundesliga champions, which could help the Red Devils land one of their top midfield targets.

The Scotland international has seen his chances of regular football at Old Trafford diminish this summer. Mason Mount’s arrival gives Erik ten Hag an extra option in midfield.

Tominay has therefore been linked with a transfer. A switch to West Ham fell through earlier in the window, but there could be movement this week ahead of the transfer deadline.

It is claimed that Bayern are interested in a shock move for the 26-year-old. It is a deal that could please United as they harbour an interest in Bayern’s Dutch midfielder Gravenberch.

According to Sky in Germany, the Premier League side could ask for Gravenberch in return for McTominay this week. United’s best chances of signing the former Ajax man would be in an initial temporary transfer.
